Snapchat Video Downloader

Save public Snapchat Spotlight videos as MP4 files, with sound. Snapchat is built around content that disappears, so anything you want to keep has to be pulled out while it is still up — paste the share link and you get the real video file rather than a screen recording.

What you can download from Snapchat

  • Public Spotlight videos
  • snapchat.com/t/... share links copied from the app
  • Full snapchat.com/@user/spotlight/... page links
  • Creator posts that anyone can open without an account

Snapchat to MP4 in practice

Snapchat to MP4 saves a Spotlight or public Story video. Disappearing is the entire product — Stories roll off after 24 hours — so there is no 'later' with Snapchat. If you want it, you want it now.

Paste a public Snapchat link and you get a normal MP4 you can keep, re-share, or edit. Public content only: private Snaps and friends-only Stories are not accessible without an account, and this tool never asks for your credentials. Save your own posts freely; for anyone else's, keep it to personal use or get their say-so first.

How it works

How to download Snapchat videos as MP4

  1. Copy the Snapchat link

Open the Snapchat video on its own page and tap Share → Copy link, so the link points at that one video rather than a feed or profile.

  2. Paste the URL into the converter

Paste the link into the input box on this page. The converter automatically recognises Snapchat URLs.

  3. Start the MP4 export

Click Convert. Our cloud worker fetches it from Snapchat and packages it as MP4.

  4. Download the MP4 file

When the export finishes you get a download link that works for anyone who has it until the file is deleted. The file is deleted from our servers automatically after 2 hours (longer for very large files or with a pass).

Snapchat to MP4 — Frequently asked questions

Share links of the snapchat.com/t/... form expire after a while, and once expired the content is gone from that link for everyone. Open the Snap again in the app and copy a fresh link, or use the full snapchat.com/@user/spotlight/... address instead.
