Anything posted to Friends, to a private group, or inside a Page's restricted audience serves nothing without a logged-in session that has access, and this tool never asks for Facebook credentials. Your own public uploads, public Page videos and public Reels are what will work.

A lot of what people want from Facebook is family video — a grandparent's message, a wedding clip, a child's first steps posted years ago by a relative. Those are worth pulling down while they still exist, because Facebook accounts get memorialised, deleted and locked, and a video that only lives on someone else's timeline is not archived in any sense that will help you later.
