Change Video Speed
Speed a video up or slow it down, from 0.25× slow motion to a 4× time-lapse. The sound is stretched to match, so voices keep their pitch instead of turning into chipmunks or a drone.

Change Video Speed — Frequently asked questions
No. The audio is time-stretched (ffmpeg’s atempo), so a voice at 2× is faster but not higher. At 0.25× and 4× the stretch is strong and the sound gets a little rough; that is the trade-off.
Slowing down shows each original frame for longer; it does not invent new frames. A clip recorded at 60 fps looks smooth at 0.5×; a 30 fps clip at 0.25× looks stepped.
The length divided by the speed: a 2-minute video at 2× becomes 1 minute, at 0.5× it becomes 4 minutes.
