Pinterest to MP4 saves a video Pin to your device. Pinterest has never had a download button, and that is a deliberate product decision rather than an oversight — the whole model depends on you coming back to the app to find the thing again.
Which is fine until you need it somewhere the app does not work. The recipe you pinned is useless in a kitchen with no signal. The workout is useless in a gym basement. The woodworking joint, the crochet stitch, the repair walkthrough — all of these are watched in places where you have your hands full and no reliable connection, and all of them need to be replayed a dozen times rather than watched once.

One practical note: a lot of video Pins are re-uploads of someone else's TikTok or Reel, sometimes several hops from whoever actually made it.
