Is LinksConverter free to use?
Yes. Anonymous users can run up to 20 conversions per hour with no sign-up, no email, and no watermark. The optional Pro tier raises the limit to 500 per hour and adds priority queue access.
How long are my converted files stored?
Every output file is held on encrypted S3 storage for exactly 2 hours and then permanently deleted. The download link is one-time and pre-signed, so it cannot be shared once it expires.
Do you log the URLs I paste or the files I upload?
No. Request URLs are masked in our server logs and we never read or store file contents. Every file passes through ClamAV antivirus scanning before it lands on storage.
Which sites can I download videos from?
LinksConverter supports YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Reddit, and over 1,000 other public video sites covered by our yt-dlp engine. Private and password-protected videos are not supported.
