Can I get just the audio from a video link?

Yes. Paste the same link into the link to MP3 converter and the audio comes back on its own, at up to 320 kbps, with title, artist and cover art embedded where the site provides them. M4A, WAV and FLAC are in the home page picker if MP3 is not the format you want.

Will a link video converter lower the quality?

No. The MP4 comes back at the resolution the source published, up to the 1080p default. It cannot go the other way either: a video uploaded at 480p stays 480p, because there is nothing more in the source to fetch.

A video link converter takes the address of a video page and hands back the video as a file. Paste the link, leave the format on MP4, and download what comes out. The fetch and the conversion both run on our servers. The page can be on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Vimeo, Reddit or Twitch, or on one of the 1,000+ other sites the converter can read.

Those six names are most of what gets pasted, but they are not the limit. The long tail of the 1,000+ is where a converter like this earns its keep: a smaller video host, a news page with a clip embedded, a forum thread. What you get

The video, not the page
The converter reads the page you paste, finds the video the player is showing, and fetches that stream alone. What you download is one file, with no page wrapped around it.
H.264 and AAC inside
That pairing is the one phones, TVs and desktop players all open without asking for a codec. Whatever the source was encoded in, the MP4 you get uses it.
Direct file links too
A link that ends in .mp4, .mov or .webm points at a file rather than a page, and it is fetched exactly as it is. Ask for MP4 and a .mov or .webm is converted on the way through.
Deleted after two hours
Each converted file is kept for two hours and then removed. Download it inside that window; once it closes the file no longer exists on our side.

What a link to video converter cannot fetch

The link has to point at one public video. A channel page, a profile or a search results page lists videos without being one, so there is nothing to fetch; open the video you want and copy that address instead. Private uploads, anything that needs a login, and DRM-protected streams from subscription services cannot be read at all. What remains is most of what people actually paste: a public clip on a page of its own.
